On the broad spectrum that will never come into play, my world shares a world with our universe. But it is not earth, rather a completely different planet with earth’s biosphere grafted onto it. This is why all earth life exists in a place with a different geological and tectonic makeup.
>How does the solar system of your setting compare? And how much do people in-setting know about it and the heavens beyond?
We got a moon (multiple, but only one that can be seen with the naked eye), an asteroid belt, and a gas giant
>Do the stars and planets have any special significance to the people in your setting, mystical or otherwise, and if so, what is said significance?
Constellations tell stories of the history of the world, same as anywhere else. Some heroes get “put” among the stars.
>When creating planets and star systems for your settings, what's your process?
Numbers. I love numbers and geometry!
>What guides and resources do you use?
My own knowledge of celestial navigation and astronomy.
>If travelling between planets is possible for the people in your setting, how does it work? What about between stars and solar systems, and what are your thoughts on FTL in general?

Sometimes adult men do the Roman thing where they assault underage boys. Have no fear, their boys are assaulted by women just as often. No, but seriously. Gay people are not treated very well
