Your giant horde armies that can build up to t5 (mobile ogre camps)
>Biomass
Global resource you get for killing units (higher tier units = more, excluding daemons and necrons kind of like soul system for chaos) and unlocks shit daemonic glory style ala daemon prince for your Tyranid parts (works exactly like daniel with your own oc swarm lord or whatever you want, and use it to pay for units, buildings, hive fleets, etc and you unlock new units and buildings (again like daemonic glory) when you reach certain thresholds
>Genestealer cults
undercities from skaven and can either do one of two things: Have a vassal genestealer cult faction spawn vassalized to you that lasts for [x] turns (can be increased with technology) or have it like a normal cult where it has support buildings and teleports the nearest hive fleet towards it
>Taking a planet / settlement
Planets will only go up to T3 like ogre camps or Norsca, and after [x] turns will be consumed and permanently razed, technology and buildings can slow this process down but your goal is to min max the biomass you get from the planet before it's completely eaten, but you spend biomass to make those buildings so you see the strategy
>Recruiting
Hivefleets each have a biomass cap on them per their tier (so like lets say a gaunt takes 150 biomass to make, a t1 hive ship will have a cap of 2500 biomass that regenerates per turn by like 50, but eating planets and other units helps fill it up per turn more, while a t5 ship has a cap of 30,000 biomass so you can spam out units) You COULD also have a cycle mechanic for a certain support building you can build to automate the process and have gaunts in reserve but those must have unit caps
