I'd recommend taking a look at Underparty. It's quite bloody and somewhat janky, but pretty fun for an action platformer and can be tough at times.

Damn, now I want to replay it again with this mod.
Recently I've picked up Underparty, ryona/guro focused action platformer h-game, though the way deaths are pictured gives it a somewhat humorous feeling akin Happy Tree Friends, at least for me. Gameplay can be tough, as there are many deathtraps and enemies that happily send you into them, but the game is also generous with save spots. I especially like collision damage when thrown against a wall and how some enemies can grab you midair with appropriate animation, don't see stuff like that often.
