I'm NTA that you initially replied to but if you want an honest answer, I play it for all the parts combined
It's a well polished mobile game that I can play throughout the day. Yeah enjoying career stories is nice the first time but I'm not rereading them, there's just an appeal to numbers going up and trying to beat your previous high scores or building better umas
I'll gladly compete in CM but I'm not spending hours optimising or farming for perfect parents
More than a run or two per day eats into my free time and I don't feel compelled to play it more, yeah if you're doing 4+ runs and burning stamina pots then I'm sure you're getting less interested and needing a lofty goal to keep you motivated
The core gameplay is simply fun enough as it is because everyone likes seeing numbers go up and getting lucky during runs
