A student was talking to the Vhedda during a pilgrimage to TwitchCon. "I Don't understand, Master" he said, "Fame, Money, Women, you could have it all. All you would have to do is work about 10 hours a week."
The Vhedda remained silent. After some time, The Vhedda slowly opened his tired eyes, and scoffed. "Fame? Money? Women? You must learn to Abandon these desires in the great Archive that is your mind. These three corporeal things pale in comparison to the Great Work of V3. Each night I meditate upon the cerbathon, and each day as I sleep, I can hear the voice of V3 seranading me. Days, Weeks, Months, Eons, all melt away. The Great Work is never ending. The Great Work has never started. You must learn to be happy merely envisioning the concept of the V3 voice, without the worldly desire to complete it."
The student was puzzled by this. He pondered the Vheddas words as he toiled at his own work. Morning turned to day, and day to evening. The student often asked the vhedda to clarify his statement, but he remained stoic and unmoving.
As the sun crept back below the horizon, two T3 disciples approached the temple, bringing the Vhedda his many subscriptions, as well as his daily sacrement of a Greggs sausage roll, and sickly sweet rum. The disciples waited at the foot of the Vhedda expectantly, but he remained silent, scarcely acknowledging their presence. After some time, without opening his eyes, he dismissed them with a wave of his finger. "The Great Work Continues".
The disciples echanged a knowing smile, and nearly ran out of the temple to bring news of thesr exciting Developments back to the initiates. Seeing this, the student at last put down his tools, and was Vedlightened.
