Israel is not a territory, it's a people, and they are in the New Covenant for 2000 years and established Christian civilization.
We also basically own the land of Palestine, it was a temporary gift by the British and a deception after ww2. The state of "Israel" in Palestine is completely dependent on America and the western world at large.
