You misunderstand.
I, and several besides me, had the suspicion that /pol/ was just a bunch of brown retards >le 56% face inbreds larping as the second-most despicable ideology that mankind ever produced: fascists.
One week in I no longer suspected it, I knew.
Nonetheless, I have stayed here for the last 11 years because all the other boards simply would not have us, back then.
/pol/ is right, 1/1000 times. They are retarded schizos whose family tree resembles a circle. Every month there is a new schizo-conspiracy that is more retarded than the last.
They, at times, even made me ashamed of being an antisemite, because of their retarded antics. (i recovered, fear not, Jews still murdered the Annointed One of God aka. Jesus, and that alone is reason enough to hate them).
HOWEVER: /pol/ was still the only board that did not ban Gamergate discussions (too often).
And they did not ban the "Shekelshoa" threads against Gawker that went on until 2015 or so.
I cannot prove it, but I like to hope that those letter-writing campaigns contributed at least a little bit to Gawker's downfall after the HH lawsuit.
