First day in as an American in Tokyo and I'm already impressed.
>zero homeless people
>zero drug added fentanyl zombies wandering the streets
>almost zero trash on the streets
>almost no graffiti
>every worker is in a uniform
>everyone is nice and courteous
>everything is extremely organized
>sense of national pride
>nearly homogenous population and culture
>foreign influences are still reined (for example French restaurants/shops are staffed by Japanese people)
>safe streets and safe public transportation
>everyone is quiet and reserved
>every device is as automated as possible
>every toilet has a bidet and is super advanced
>tons of cute anime women in all the advertising
>everyone dressed modestly, zero slobs, no women in trashy tattoos
>no LGBTQ shit seen so far except by foreigners
>almost everyone is a healthy weight
>everyone seems to obey the laws

The only bad part is that the langauge is hard af to learn, far too hard for me. That seems to be a major barrier to entry here, but at least most things have English subtitles which is nice. I am not even a weeb, but it really makes America seem pathetic. It's disgusting. I'm sure Japan has bad sides too, but if this how their largest city is, it really puts us to shame.
