I've got a 90 corvette that wont start, just drove it the other day and it wouldn't start this morning, just cranked with no sign of catching. I am getting no spark or fuel injector pulses. It has 40psi at the the fuel rail after i turn the key and the pump primes. Security light also goes off after i turn the key to the on position so i don't think it had anything to do with vats. Would i be correct in thinking that the pickup coil in the distributor shit out? I'm thinking that the ecu is the only thing that controls both fuel and spark but isn't the pickup coil where it gets the signal?

Car has given me no trouble for the last 2 years before today. I've also checked all the fuses and they are all good.
