Why are Russians and Serbs the nicest Eastern European nationalities I've ever met? They've always been friendly to me and curious to learn about British culture. In contrast my Polish ex was a crazy bitch and my Polish housemate was passive-aggressive af, most of the Ukrainian girls I've been out with were soulless and manipulative, Ukrainian men are often cold and spam gore videos on social media, Croats glorify genocide against other white Europeans and Romanians are whiny and annoying. I think these other nationalities have a chip on their shoulder and it comes out when you interact with them.
