Thanks a bunch anon, was genuinely curious. The one I was thinking of and considered getting at one point (and unfortunately waited too long on, they seem to be ded now) was the EOS-22, but totally different and that does indeed look like a neat approach.

It's depressing how often this happens honestly. A lot of the time it seems that it's not really the first person to come up with an idea but the first person to actually do it right and get all the fiddly bits done, and with the right timing. Which often doesn't happen so then cool concepts die on the vine and can stay dead for a frustratingly long time before someone else picks it up again.
