Now that the dust has settled, how big of a deal is the "leaving pmags stored loaded will stretch and fuck the feed lips" thing?

tl;dr I'm not a fan of scar 17 mags anymore and am considering getting the lingle lower to use sr25 mags, but I also want to have mags and a chest rig always loaded too and I refuse to use the little magpul dust covers
