My thinking was that Holo has pretty much conquered the entire anime market at this point, and to go mainstream you'd need IRL crossover events. That type of "fandom competition" event I think would be fun as hell. I was just thinking of Mr. Beast or Squid Game style events with the fans.
They don't have to mock their fans, they could cheer for them instead.
