I can’t sleep tonight. Not because of caffeine or stress or anything like that, but because I’m seriously considering jumping ship to Elon Musk’s America Party. And yeah, I know how that sounds. But when you step back and actually look at what the MAGA GOP has become, a geriatric cult obsessed with grievance politics, Israel first, and performative outrage, you start wondering what exactly is being “conserved.” Say what you want about Musk, but the America Party is talking about the stuff that actually matters: energy independence, free speech absolutism, AI sovereignty, American industry, tech acceleration, border control without the religious dogma, and yeah, not sucking off foreign governments every 30 seconds. That’s more in line with what I thought MAGA stood for back in 2016. So I’m thinking about making the switch. Not because I hate Trump, but because I love America more. And if you’re honest with yourself, you probably feel that itch too. Maybe it’s time for /ptg/ to stop being a retirement home for boomer LARPers and start actually leading the future again.
