it's obvious you didn't have a girlfriend growing up. Like a particular girl in your grade school, middle school, high school, whom you liked, dated, spent any serious time with. Not trying to rip on you for it, but if you did you would understand it is legit.
Back in your younger formative years if you dated your peers, you could be really weird and awkward and kind of a feckless loser and your girlfriend would still have some serious attachment to you. She would get butterflies in her stomach over you, giggle and get nervous when you would talk to her and hold her hand, etc. When you two broke up she felt like she lost her one and only chance at love at the age of 16 or so.
over time with women when they fuck around they are getting attached in diminishing amounts to the men they are spreading their legs for, so in the long run they lose the ability to pairbond with really ANYONE, no matter how good of a partner they can be.
