Israel isn't a liberal democracy. Netanyahu is a far-right figure by any metric and Israel has always been an apartheid ethno-state since its founding. Its understandable that jews (of any political alignment) might support it, but non-Jewish leftists have little reason to. non-Jewish right-wingers typically only support it because of "da bible and jesus n' sheeit", nevermind the fact that jews are the ones that rejected and murdered Jesus, but Evangelical preachers are funded heavily by jewish interests and they brainwash their followers into supporting Israel. In a nutshell this is why the right generally supports Israel, but the left (other than jews, obviously) generally doesn't.
