I'm at high risk of waking up the good idea fairy, but just so I'm sure I'm going in the right direction, I would like to hear you guy's idea on the topic:
How would you picture a combat system that tries to emulate fights in stuff like Scavenger's Reign?
My first thoughts would be a system that:
>leaves a lot of space for creative thinking
>still have a bit of a structure, doesn't go into full-on Calvinball
>should be quick, potentially lethal and forces the players to make some tough choices
I can't think of many systems like that, I could take inspiration of. Actually, I can't think of any system anywhere close to that.
My base resolution system is D6 pool, with both positive and negative dice, if that's any help.
