Finished reading vndb.org/v55742 after 2 weeks break.
While game is described as romance/mystery, it's much more about romance than mystery. I would even say it's not really mysteryge, but a romantic nakige(which author acknowledges in the game afterword, saying he was writing love story first and foremost). Yes, there are murders of women happening in the plot, but they're more like backdrop to blossoming youth romance and resulting drama, than key part of the plot. There is also a mystery about second protagonist, but it's very easy to solve and you'll probably figure it out during first hour of reading. This is not criticism of the game, but a reminder to curious mysteryfags, this is not a story you read for its mystery.
Highlight and main focus of the game is relationships between MC and heroine, their various dates take like half of the script and game does a good job making you care about them and doesn't fail to deliver emotional impact when game turns into nakige
All enjoyment will depend on how much do you like these two.
Message of the VN is simple but life-affirming. I wouldn't reccomend to play this if you're jaded and cynical, since what author wanted to convey will fall flat and would seem naive. In some way it's more healthy version of umineko ep8 message.
