Critical Role is the tabletop equivalent of Big Bang Theory, it's Hollywood actors pretending to be "nerdy" by putting on an ultra-distilled, hyper-consumeristic mask of what pop culture says tabletop players are. If you watch Critical Role, you aren't watching a game being played, you're watching an internet TV show.
