Their retarded communist mayor (he's literally KKE) wanted to make the train underground (lol?) but the EU won't give them money to do so because it would be hella expensive (the last package application was also rejected some days ago) so he's sabotaging the train at all costs (he's also good friends with the KTEL bus owners too, wink wink) so the whole city is stuck with a small, ancient network used by some mini trains pile the one above
