How do you guys feel about "expeditions"? I personally have never been on a cruise before and I've never been interested in the booze cruize bullshit but I am interested in this line that goes to more exotic places like Antarctica and Galapagos Islands and has a stronger focus on exploring the places you go to. I travel for work and stay at Hyatt hotels often and they have a program where I can convert Hyatt hotel points into a cruise.
It's just really, really fucking expensive. I could get a month of hotel nights for the number of points it would cost for one of their lower tier expeditions.

Are there any cruises actually worth going on? I think it would be neat to go by boat to see some interesting things, but anything more involved than "Get drunk on the ship and lose at the casino" immediately jumps up to $1,000 a day
