That pic reminded me of the fundamental emotion which we have lost which is patriotism. Now we live in a world where icons of patriotism seem alien, archaic, absurd, and even evil. That is because we are in an ethnic conflict where the old patriotic symbol represents one side of the conflict and therefore fuels division. But there is a special type of alien which is when you have a black wrapped in the American flag or a Paki wrapped in the British one.
