BTC is being institutionalised hence it being less volatile with smaller drawdowns and mirroring index funds. The same institutions don't care about altcoins since they are volatile, unpredictable and encapsulates pre 2021 crypto era. The only way for an altcoin to gain institutional awareness is to provide value to make it desirable, so far the only altcoins that have achieved this is stablecoins.
