I can't remember what I was about to say but my dad loves Robocop, Sparta, Gladiator, and general historical manly movies and content, he would've loved /med/ was it not that he went full on senile schizo after hitting 40 years old. I feel sad that I lost my dad not because he didn't love me, but rather because he just never treated his mental health accordingly. He's still alive but he's not the same person as before.
