It's like Witches n' Inquisitions. Male mages are more likely to be the more skilled at magic since women aren't risk takers, and 99.99% of all scientific accomplishments were conducted by men.

Another similar parallel is China. The Chinese are female brained, while Caucasians are male brained. The Arabs and Europeans took what China made and did better things with it.

There's more genius in men/humans than women/elves.
