I almost feel bad for Yoru, as big of a bitch as she is. Her nature is just too fucked up for her to be able to build any type of healthy relationship with anybody.
She seems to have some affection for Denji and Asa both but she'll screw everything up due to her devil nature.
It was always obvious that Asa's altruism would win out over Yoru's blackmail and threats. Yet I do think that Yoru genuinely tried to act as friendly as possible with the two, unfortunately she's just not capable of more.
Credit to the Potoo for trying but it was never really going to happen. There's just too big of a gap between humans and her.
