i suppose a monthly compilation post since merch news flies under the radar and sometimes doesn't get posted here. a month is still long enough for it to not have released yet. weekly would be overkill desu they don't announce that much and its not worth you working like that. a quick visual image compilation is all you need really
even the weibo even hides the merch under the 3x3 image set and you can't see the thumbnails either so you'd have to actually go in and see it visually which is why i think a lot of its forgotten. it's poorly visually revealed
