you are right, you already hear people in Gayrope, saying they need to move troops into Ukraine -as soon as a ceasefire is negotiated- so they can freeze the conflict, and return to it at another date.

This probably dragged on for way too long and the US want's to pivot towards Iran/China, but can't really do that with Ukraine being rolled over.
