The talk about Manon's face reminds me of something I read a while ago about Fantina from Pokemon, like Manon, a lot of people got weirded out by her design and thought she had a "man face", apparently it's because nips have this idea that euros have super sharp, angular faces and that the "man face" is just a result of nip artists wanting to make a character look giga white and european with an aristocratic touch.
