Sometimes I feel the same way, but then I wonder if it's a cope and that the money actually would make all the difference. It makes me think about the parable of the fox and the grapes:
One sunny day, a hungry fox was walking in a vineyard. He saw a beautiful bunch of grapes hanging from a high vine. The fox was very tempted to eat the grapes, but they were out of his reach. He jumped, and he jumped, but he couldn't reach the grapes. The fox thought to himself, "These grapes must not be ripe yet, or they wouldn't be hanging so high up." He looked at the grapes and thought, "They're probably sour anyway. I don't want them."
The fox then walked away with his head held high, pretending like he didn't want the grapes in the first place.
