Currently serving ZTZ-99 units feature a laser APS, originally designed to operate in passive mode (something illuminates the tank with laser and the APS blinds it). The new iterations feature a new LDIRCM APS that actively looks for drones and blinds them but it also looks for other tanks to not just blind them but fry their optics.
