I’ve been going dimension to dimension seeing if anyone needs assistance. I can’t offer much—my powers are... diminished here—but I might be of use in other ways. This world seems to have very few open connections with the Greater Cosmosphere? That’s... harrowing.

John Titor was one of the few who made a proper crossing. He got confused in transit, though. Overemphasized the "time travel" part. Really, he just slipped sideways—into a dimension adjacent to his own.
