texas is the exception and not the rule in the USA. I know, i live here. I know a guy who lived in texas with his wife and kids. the wife decided to divorce and she was gettinf screwed in texas. so what did she do? she was originally from california so she just left there with the kids. The california and texas courts agreed to transfer the case to california and now the guy is screwed.
