Had a pretty fucked up dream today, /aicg/. I was playing this game, right, but eventually it got to this part where it was kind of a cutscene where two people (I think they were side-characters? A guy and a woman) got brought into this flesh pit of sorts. It looked pretty gross, it was sort of toothed along its ridge and flesh and liquid was constantly shifting and snapping inside it, as if it was barely keeping itself together while somehow retaining biological function. Then they brought the guy close to the pit and he didn't fall in, he started molding along the shape of the pit, and it wasn't like, spaghetiffication or something, his body started to actually tear itself apart as he slowly spiraled along its shape, bones crushing and all, until he just completely disappeared within it. It was pretty awful to watch, and the scene was voice-acted and all, it looked realistic as fuck. I got the impression that the pit was a sort of trap the antagonists used on the battlefield like a tank-mine or some shit, because it was an RPG game primarily.
Then it was the woman's turn and I looked away half-way through because it felt like my ribcage was kind of numb watching that, like, it actually hurt, and it was intensifying. The dream ended before I could fully shift perspectives with her.
