Don't forget that he gives everyone one last lottery.
> John 3:18
> Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God's one and only Son
> Quran 5:72
> Those who say, “Allah is the Messiah, son of Mary,” have certainly fallen into disbelief. The Messiah ˹himself˺ said, “O Children of Israel! Worship Allah—my Lord and your Lord.” Whoever associates others with Allah ˹in worship˺ will surely be forbidden Paradise by Allah. Their home will be the Fire. And the wrongdoers will have no helpers.
So even the poor will have one last chance at paradise. When judgement day comes, God will line everyone up, rich and poor, and will reveal a coin bearing a cross on one side, and a moon on the other side. Then he will ask us "what do you dare stake your immortal soul on, christ is your lord and savior, or you accept no god but Muhammad's god". Then, after hearing the answer each one of us dares give, god will flip the coin, and send us to an eternal fate using the answer we gave, but also judging the answer based on the criteria given by the coin.
Never mind the fact that if both a rich man and a poor man lost the coin flip, the rich man would have at least enjoyed a much more comfortable, finite existence. God is benevolent because we all have one last chance to play this lottery and win.
