idc about the official RYM year charts etc. or whatever, but RYM is still objectively good for finding users with taste and good lists. their film lists are better than letterboxd overall by far. there are some good outlier lists on letterboxd, but user base is too full of dumb women and gays. latter problem also exists on RYM, but less so.

old school Mubi used to be top tier for film before they cucked the site and changed it years ago, now only RYM is best for film. and it's clearly best for music still, so idk what you're even debating here. is fact
