I got to test drive a 2018 4S with the X51 package (so basically a GTS), a 2023 base Carrera, a 2014 Turbo S and admittedly more NA Porsche 911s, Caymans and Boxsters and I always came away smiling more with the NA cars. I especially loved the 2021 Cayman GTS 4.0 I test drove but they wanted more than MSRP for a used car with 4,000 miles on it. The only BMW I actually have my eye on is an E28 M5. To me that era is peak BMW and the styling takes a dive with each subsequent generation.
