Bombing both nuclear sites and nothing else isn't joining the war. If anything it would end it before it really kicked off.

After all the official motive is permanently ending the Iranian nuclear programme and to do that you need to wipe out the subterranean bases at both locations as the surface facility is a minor part of the real base. If Israel doesn't declare mission complete shortly after, then its clear the main goal is regime change.
