My mother is very vocal about LGBTQ+ community rights, but equally vocal about all these FUCKING ethnic minorities in modern media.
She went on a rant about how black gay Dr Who is RIDICULOUS, because it's so UNREALISTIC. When he travels back in time to consort with the lizard-people, he'd stand out too much!

Sometimes I see people complain about how shit his sense of humour or writing has become, like they actually think he's sat on the FG/AD writing teams at any point in the past decade and doesn't just show up to voice lines that he's ashamed of so that FOX and/or Disney don't come down on him.
