The lore is a retarded mess and started getting that way ever since they started lifting parts from the shitty books and extended universe crap. Nobody knows what to do with the Predator race when there could be so many easy solutions like making their hunting trips part of some religious ritual worshipping some void demon, or have them be like tests for their special forces or trials for breeding or becoming kings or something.

I always thought that Aliens vs. Predator would be cooler if Predators knew that the Xenomorphs were like eternal void spawn demons that came to destroy each universe or something like that.
