They're not as bad as some other gacha MC's but the devs clearly want you to self insert when they do stuff like-
>Give you dialogue options that don't matter because your character will just say both options in one combined message anyways. Options just exist to make you feel like you're a part of the conversation.
>Give MC's non-combat roles, it's easier to imagine yourself being the guy behind the screen (Especially when you are behind a screen IRL) as opposed to being the guy who fights.
>Make nearly every character immediately nice and polite to the MC's, even when the MC's are underworld criminals who should be distrusted by default.
Although to give them some credit the ZZZ devs are very laid back on these things. In other gachas you'd never see stuff like The Cunning Hares legitimately considering the option to sell out the proxies to save their own skin. Or Zhu being a complete bitch to the proxies for keeping a secret from her and not immediately forgiving them.
