Blame the devs, they're definitely been cultivating it by the way they've presented Pyre. Even trying to find the source has been mostly bullshit random forum discussions whining about it.
I'm happy to admit I was wrong but the fact that I generally follow the games news since announced and I wasn't sure is kind of concerning.
