>Go to the Coordinator’s office.
€
>Convince Samantha to go as well.
The table is silent, except for the infrequent slurping sounds coming from Clover’s milkshake. Samantha’s hands are shaking in her lap, hidden from sight. Were the two of them… serious about this? Was there an actual… k-killing?
“…Samantha. If you can, try to get their phone numbers. Say that you’re all friends now.” Hermione’s voice is a bit gentler than usual.
The girl doesn’t nod or do anything. She just stares at the laminated wood of the table in front of her.
Clover finishes her milkshake and slams the empty glass down on the table dramatically. Samantha jumps a little, startled at the sudden noise. Lorene simply watches. The wolf-girl stands, a confident glint in her eye. "Well, we know one more thing: we know where the crime was committed!"
“Y-you’re saying we know where this happened and haven’t contacted the police?!” Samantha looks up at the wolf-girl fearfully.
Clover glances at her with the corner of her lip upturned in a grin. “Not to alarm you, Sammy, but this case goes much deeper than the police. There are deeper, far more sinister forces at play... and you should never send a pig to do a wolf's job!”
“W-what?! This sounds exactly like something they should be handling!”
Clover puts her hand over the middle of the table, staring at the two girls with determined eyes. “This is our responsibility. We need to check it out for ourselves!”
Samantha looks between Lorene and Clover frantically. T-they couldn’t possibly be saying that they needed to go see the murder site!
