The visit to the train station reminds you of the day when you first met BlackAgumon. You slow down significantly as you approach it, staring at the ominous staircase that leads down to an empty plot. There could be another vending machine there, with another threat inside ready to pounce. You shake the thought out of your head and move on. This is a different station. It's in between the one you first boarded, and takes the same route that you battled Espimon on.

"We riding up top again?"

"No, that's what the ticket was for."

You curtly hand your ticket to the servitor. Transport is free, and tickets aren't needed on slower trains. For long-distance ones that have no stops, like the carriage you're boarding, early bookings are needed to secure spots.

Prior to boarding, you've activated the .app Squid sent you. The bot allows you through without fuss.

"Have a pleasant ride, Michelle!"

The interior of the train is comfortable and clean. It automatically refreshes at each station, ensuring that it's in a pristine state for each new batch of customers. You step inside and settle into your allocated seat, which is highlighted with a yellow arrow that's visible only to you.

There are quite a lot of people today. Seems like the outskirts are a popular destination, with all the chaos happening lately. In order to prevent humans from getting lost and being unaccounted for, only the Northernmost section of the city has been set aside for the artificial outdoors. It's a large wedge shape, and you don't know what lies within the other part of the disc. You're headed towards the primary campgrounds, where you can set up camp in an empty plot and enjoy a day in the great outdoors. You hope it's not as disappointing as you remembered, but you've never once witnessed a piece of infrastructure like the outskirts get revamped or updated.

As you lose yourself in your own thoughts, the conductor lets out a jingle over the intercom. A brief safety message plays, warning riders to keep their limbs within the vehicle and to not open any of the doors or windows. It begins chugging along, picking up speed and roaring loudly. Once the volume hits a critical point, it abruptly mutes itself, sparing the passengers from having to deal with it the entire trip.
