Correct. As it stands, the entire South is gerrymandered to favor Democrats. If Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, and New Mexico can get away with all Democrats, why can't we do the same thing in Dixie?
Gerrymandering is objectively beneficial to us btw. Democrats in the South do next to nothing to represent their States' interests and often act explicitly to propose to do things like use Federal law to preempt their own States' laws because they're so radically opposed to local policies, while even if New York, California, and Jew Jersey purged their Republicans, it would just make our Party a more solid bloc in negotiating processes and remove distractions like pro-SALT Republicans from negotiations.
