Nah I don't need the pics again, it was more funny that its easier for me to lurk /k/ for my old pics than to try to get the old phone to turn on and backup my pics from it.
My taste in .22s mostly comes from filtering thru old pawn shops that would have a barrel of cheapo rimfires for diamonds in the rough to pretty up. And then more from people bringing in bullshit to the gun shop I work at. Most of those I paid less than $100 for (some I paid far more for stocks or replacement parts than the gun itself), and since that pic I've added a nylon 66 and a Marlin 783.
Any gunsmith worth their work will have a backlog. That just comes with the reputation. If they don't have a long backlog, there's probably a reason why. Well, as long as they're actually getting work out the door too, a buddy of mine has had an AK kit build at a smith for damn near 3 years now (been waiting at "It just needs paint and it will be done! Promise!" since January). That said, cutting and threading a barrel to pin and weld after shouldn't be any problem for most any smith.

Loooooooolll, I also took that pic. I still have all those tho. On a related note, DSA finally dropped those FALs. We got in a couple rhodies yesterday and we have the t48 and Cuban on the way.
