This is exactly what they will do. It makes perfect sence and what I'd do as a CEO. Milk old titles and IPs with subpar releases, divert funds into Gacha and MMOs. They tried and accomplished at making good games like FF16 and Rebirth and all they got was finicky autists screeching about tiny details and sales flops.
