Odd question, but is there anything against using a sniper as a gunner? Normal Trion guns have shit range and do jack against shields, so why not use an Ibis as your primary and win duels at midrange, while still having the option of long-distance fire when needed, or wallbang unsuspecting plebs? It's not like the weight is an issue, and a Scorpion in the offhand would mean you could still fight in melee.
My dream gun would be a sniper that shoots Meteors
