Autistic people often have "black and white" thinking

Someone is either totally good or totally bad

Why does it seem like the entire US society is autistic in this regard?

Like ask about people on the sex offender registry, something you could be on for any number of reasons, from clicking the wrong link, having your account hacked, being nude in public, consensual sex with your slightly younger partner, accidentally touching a woman, etc.

But the response from these people is "lol pedos get the woodchipper no sympathy for those SEX OFFENDERS"
