Why did Kubo changed Ichigo's character so much post-SS arc? He was a cool, masculine shonen hero that defeated his enemies, changed the world of the shinigami and saved the girl. Arrancar arc onwards he was a pansy, emotional loser that got his ass kicked all the time and needed Rukia to smack sense into him otherwise he was depressed 24/7, his only major win against Grimmjow was stolen by Nnoitra and he didn't even save Orihime, he got thrashed so hard by Ulquiorra that Zangetsu had to bail his ass. This only got worse in the FB and the final arc. Kubo didn't even let him get Orihime pregnant more than once.
